Born in the Deep South, Georgia, David Earle Steward was led, ultimately, to dwell beneath the imposing San Jacinto mountains that overlooked the seasonal Paradise of Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley.  David was a Minister for 30 years, an Animal Activist and Published Author. Other titles by this author are Christ for a Day, Conversations with Dog/God, and Amazing Gracie.

Poems From the Desert is a collection of poems written by David over his lifetime. We hope these will bring you the joy and contemplation He brought to all of us.
